By installing and using Unsub for Gmail ("the Extension"), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Extension.

2. License and Use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension as intended. You may:

Install the Extension on your personal browser
Use it to scan and manage your own Gmail inbox
Unsubscribe from newsletters

You may not:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
Use the Extension for commercial purposes without permission
Sell or distribute the Extension
Use it to access someone else's Gmail without authorization

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your Gmail account and authentication
All actions taken through the Extension using your Gmail account
Complying with Google's Terms of Service for Gmail and Chrome extensions

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Extension will:

Unsubscribe you from all newsletters (some senders may not honor requests)
Work flawlessly or without interruption
Remain available indefinitely

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Loss of data or emails
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Issues caused by third-party services (Gmail, Chrome, or email senders)
Any harm resulting from your use of the Extension

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension integrates with Google Gmail and Chrome. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for their actions, policies, or changes.

7. Unsubscribe Actions

When you unsubscribe from a newsletter:

The Extension sends the unsubscribe request on your behalf
The sender's response and compliance is their responsibility
We do not guarantee the sender will honor the request
Some emails may still arrive if the sender ignores the request

If an issue arises with a specific sender, contact them directly.

8. Modifications to the Extension

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or restrict access to the Extension if you violate these terms or Google's policies. You can uninstall the Extension at any time from Chrome.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where davidgombar.com is based. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
